Be Mindful of Traffic

If you are from a country that tends to drive on the right, then being in London may come as a bit of a surprise. It is so important that you pay a lot of attention to this, as well as to the road signs you may come across. If you are in any doubt of the roads, then simply pay attention to the locals or choose to take the tube. When you do this, you can then eliminate any travel concerns that you may have. If you want some more help then check out this guide for traffic tips in London.

Take an Umbrella

The UK is known for its bad weather and it’s true that rain can arrive at almost any time. It doesn’t matter what the forecast tells you because you should make sure that you take an umbrella with you. Pack a few extra sets of clothes too so you can make sure that you are never left soaking wet from an unexpected shower. If you want to limit travel as much as possible then why not book a hotel near Westfield Shopping Centre? When you do, you will soon find that you can get to almost anywhere you want to go, and you don’t have to worry about catching the tube too often.

Walking can be Fast

London has a very good tube network and if you are a tourist, you will probably want to try it out for yourself. That being said, you have to remember that walking can be faster. Take a look at the maps and see if the journeys you are taking involve more than two stops. If they do, then taking the tube can be a good idea. If they don’t, then walking could be the better option. Make sure that you pick up a tube pass, so you can make any trips you need without spending a fortune.

Go Shopping

If you’re like most people, then there is a high chance that you enjoy shopping. This is great, and you should know that London is home to some of the top brand outlets in the world. A lot of them are on Oxford Street, but at the weekend, you may find that a lot of these places become crowded. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle, then it is a good idea for you to try and go shopping on a weekday. This will give you a better experience overall and you may even find that it is easier for you to find what you need.

Ride a Bike

London, as a city, is very bike-friendly. You should not shy away from renting a bike, especially if it is a nice, clear day. Zooming around on the city’s bike paths is always fun and on top of this, you will soon find that there are a lot of bike-renting facilities out there.
