November is for me a real changing point in the year.  We are well and truely into autumn now and all thoughts of an Indian summer are now flown away.  Yes there are sunny days too, but misty, damp ones are more common.  I can feel winter knocking on the door as I go out and there’s a hint of chill in the air.  The shops are starting to fill up with Christmas things.  Now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are out of the way, Christmas will begin in earnest.  A friend announced that they were going to the German Christmas market today.  Others are arranging Christmas meetups.  Time to embrace the season.
