A Little Luxury For Me

Win A 50 Lollies Recipe Book

July 8, 2017 by Erica Hughes 36 Comments

50 lollies recipe book

Lollies are just the thing for this hot weather.  They cool you down, they refresh you, they are a bit of a treat.  I always have a mix of shop bought ones and homemade ones in my freezer, so there are plenty to hand when we needed them.  On the homemade side though I have run out of inspiration a little, so I liked the sound of having some lolly recipes to follow.

50 Lolly Recipes explains the simple techniques required for successful ice lollies, as well as exciting ways to serve and present them for all sorts of occasions – from weddings and dinner parties to children’s parties. The 50 recipes cover adventurous and exciting options like Cantaloupe and Basil, and Ruby Grapefruit and Campari in addition to classic flavour combinations, such as Strawberries and Cream, and Orange and Lemon. There are even lollies you could serve after dinner instead of a heavy dessert or cheese course.

I love making ice lollies! My current favourite are cherry flavoured juice with pineapple chunks frozen into it. Maybe this book would give me some new ideas 🙂

My little girl is addicted to lollies. This is her favourite ‘food’ and always puts a smile on her face. If asked what she wants for her meal – lollies are top of the list even breakfast. It’s all daddys fault when he gave her a magnum aged one year old. Would be lovely to try new recipes and give her brothers a chance to share the magic more!

We do not have kids, but I love making healthy lollies to keep me and my husband cool in the hot weather. So far, mine have been made with greek yogurt and fruit or fruit juice only, so I’d love some more ideas!
