AURA Reality Review: Trying the 3D Digital Twin Aesthetic Scan #Ad

May 29, 2026 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

AURA Reality 3D Skin Scan at Dermoperfection

I recently attended the AURA Reality x DermoperfectionAURA Reality x Dermoperfection showcase at The Mailbox to see the brand’s new 3D scanning technology in action.

The main focus of the event was the AURA digital twin system, which creates a detailed 3D scan of your face to help visualise aesthetic treatments and skin concerns more clearly.

The Scan Experience

I had the chance to try the scan myself, and it was interesting to see how detailed the results were. The system creates a realistic 3D image of the face which can then be used during consultations to look at skin concerns and possible treatment outcomes. My scan rated my skin in comparison to my age and that was pleasing as I was given a negative score meaning that my skin was better than expected for my age.  It then looked in detail at wrinkles, texture, brown spots, red areas and pores mapping accurately where the issues lay.

The process itself was very quick and straightforward. Within a few moments, the scan had mapped facial features and skin texture in much more detail than a standard photograph.  It’s a great tool for focusing future improvement.  It really just took a few moments and the report on my skin was produced in just a few seconds.

What I liked most was that it gives a clearer visual reference during consultations rather than relying purely on explanation or imagination.  It’s just so easy as it visualises it all for you.

AURA Reality 3D Skin ScanA More Modern Consultation Tool

Having seen the AURA system up close, it feels less like a gimmick and more like a genuinely useful consultation tool.  I’ve already used it to give a new focus to my beauty regime because it showed up that my biggest issues were will colouration like redness and pigmentation spots.

The technology gives practitioners and clients something visual to work from, which could make treatment planning feel more personalised and realistic.

It was definitely one of the more interesting pieces of skin technology I’ve seen recently.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the event gave a good insight into how technology is starting to shape aesthetic consultations.

The AURA scan was simple to use, surprisingly detailed, and genuinely interesting to try for myself. While it’s still very new technology, I can see why clinics are starting to explore tools like this as part of the consultation experience.

Disclosure: I had a complimentary scan as part of the event.  My opinions are my own.

BTL Exion at Dermoperfection Birmingham: My First Experience + What You Need to Know #Ad

March 24, 2026 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

If you’re interested in non-invasive skin treatments that promise firmer, smoother, more radiant skin (without needles or downtime), you’ve may well have started hearing about Exion.

I recently had the chance to try a taster session at Dermoperfection, and I wanted to share both my experience and everything I learned about the treatment.

You can find full details about the treatment here:

BTL ExionWhat is BTL Exion?

BTL Exion is an advanced, non-invasive aesthetic treatment designed to improve skin quality, firmness and texture. It uses a combination of radiofrequency and ultrasound technology to stimulate your skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin.

These are the key building blocks of youthful skin, helping to maintain firmness, elasticity and smoothness — all things that naturally decline over time.

Unlike more invasive procedures, Exion works with your body rather than against it, encouraging gradual, natural-looking results.

What Can Exion Treat?

One of the things I found most interesting is how versatile the treatment is. At Dermoperfection, Exion is commonly used for:

  • Skin laxity (especially around the jawline and lower face)
  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing
  • Crepey or thinning skin
  • Overall skin tone and texture improvement
  • Body areas with mild to moderate laxity

Because it’s non-invasive and requires minimal downtime, it’s ideal if you want results without disrupting your routine.

How Does It Work?

Exion delivers controlled thermal energy deep into the skin using radiofrequency and ultrasound. This stimulates the body’s natural regenerative response, boosting collagen and elastin production over time.

Some systems also support increased hyaluronic acid levels, which helps improve hydration and that “plump” look we all want.

The key takeaway: it’s not about instant dramatic change — it’s about gradual, natural improvement.

My Experience at Dermoperfection

I had a short taster session during an event, so this wasn’t a full treatment course — but it gave me a really good feel for what Exion is like.  I opted to have my jaw line treated.  Before the treatment started I had a grounding pad attached to my back –  the pad acts as a return path for the electrical energy, ensuring safe delivery of the radiofrequency.

During the treatment

The treatment itself was surprisingly comfortable. I’d describe it as a warm sensation on the skin — not painful at all, just slightly intense heat at times. There was a short moment when it was a little too hot for comfort, but my therapist was quick to make sure it didn’t get that hot again.  t’s definitely one of those treatments where you can relax rather than brace yourself as the heat is rather soothing.

After the treatment

There was no real downtime for me.  Yes, my skin was red immediately afterwards, but no redness that lingered or anything that stopped me carrying on with my day, which is a huge plus.

Even after just a taster, my skin felt slightly tighter and smoother and a week on I’d still noticing the difference, though it’s worth noting that full results develop over a course of treatments.

When Will You See Results?

Exion works by stimulating your skin over time, so results aren’t instant.

  • Some people notice early improvements within a few weeks
  • Best results come after a course of treatments
  • Results can be long-lasting with maintenance and good skincare

This makes it a great option if you prefer subtle, natural-looking improvements rather than anything dramatic or obvious.

Is Exion Worth It?

From my first impression, Exion feels like a really strong option if you:

  • Want to improve skin quality without injectables
  • Prefer gradual, natural-looking results
  • Are looking for a treatment with minimal downtime
  • Want something clinically backed rather than purely cosmetic

Final Thoughts

After my taster session at Dermoperfection, I can definitely see why Exion is gaining popularity. It sits nicely between traditional facials and more invasive aesthetic treatments, offering a results-driven approach without the usual downsides.

If you’re curious, I’d recommend reading more about it here:
https://dermoperfection.co.uk/btl-exion-birmingham/

Disclosure

I received a complimentary taster session of BTL Exion at Dermoperfection for the purpose of this experience. All opinions are my own.

Review of Madras Eatery, Bearwood

January 26, 2026 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

The Madras Eatery has taken over the premises of the former Red Oven curry house at 607A Bearwood Rd, B66 4BJ.  It’s on the first floor, above the Superdrug shop, and is accessed via a door on Anderson Road, but the signage is very easily visible from Bearwood Road.  Madras Eatery specialises in South Indian cuisine.  It’s a licensed restaurant with a couple of draught lagers, various bottled beers, a decent wine selection, plus a range of spirits and soft drinks. The inside is decorated in fresh light colours and there is a leaf green ceiling which works well as part of the interior design.

We had opted for a Groupon meal deal which included a starter, main course, drink and side dish, but lamb and seafood dishes had a supplemental charge.  So we stuck to the deal and had vegetable or chicken dishes. A bit of a shame perhaps, as South Indian cuisine is known for its use of fish and it would have been good to be able to try out some of those dishes.

gunpowder paneer

Gun Powder Paneer

I picked out the Gunpowder Paneer to  try from the starter menu.  The paneer cheese was cut into cubes and coated with a spicy blend before cooking.  Gunpowder spice, also known as Milagai Podi, Idli Podi, or Kandi Podi, is a popular, fiery, and savoury dry condiment originating from South India.  I’d not tried it before, but found it wasn’t too spicy, although it did have a very pleasant kick to it.  This was a really refreshing dish with a nice fresh salad garnish to complement it.

chicken hariyali

Chicken Hariyali Tikka

For my main I had Nilgiri Chicken which was described as being cooked with coriander leaves, mint, spinach, green chillies and onion masala.  It’s a famous dish from the Blue Mountain part of South India (near Ooty).  I found that it was heavy on the spinach (generally a good thing in my book), but which did seem to overpower some of the other flavours. I tend to prefer rice with my curry, so I picked out Pulao Rice to go with my curry which worked well.

Overall the food seemed on the mild side.  One of our party asked for ‘Indian spicy’ as she was recently back from traveling there and she still found her dish was milder than expected.

The service was good and accommodating.  There was a bit of confusion as some had booked and others hadn’t, but they were able to fit us in on a biggish table at short notice on a Thursday night.  The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived around 6pm, but wasn’t so popular when we left.

Disclosure:  I am part of a dining club and this was our first outing.  We paid for our meals via a Groupon deal which was really good value. The group consensus was that whilst we enjoyed our meal, most wouldn’t revisit and others would only revisit on a Groupon deal or similar (I’d put myself in the later camp).  This wasn’t because it was a bad meal or poor service, but it’s on a busy street with lots of competition and there are other restaurants that would be preferred.

Oak Ca Phe, Bearwood Review

October 21, 2025 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

One of the things I love about Bearwood is the range and diversity of its eateries.  There’s always something new opening up on the Bearwood Road and you can eat your way around the world.  This time I tried out Oak Ca Phe, a Vietnamese cafe.

The cafe has a prominent high street position with a modern style.  It’s heavy on greenery inside, but I’m afraid it’s the plastic variety.  That said it’s a nice modern decor and there’s a range of seating from central tables, wall bench style seating and higher tables.  Our table seated four, but it’s easy to pull up seats and accommodate a larger group.

It’s a cafe that seems to do well with young mums and their babies.  This is probably in part because of the generously sized toilets with changing station. This music was a bit loud for my taste – I like to be able able to chat easily and I think it could have been problematic for a bigger party, but it worked well for the two of us.

cinnamon bun french toast

We started off by ordering apple teas flavoured with cinnamon and star anise.  These were warming and aromatic, perfect for an autumnal day, and in very generously sized cups.  The teas were priced at £4 each.

Next up, my friend ordered the Cinnamon Bun French Toast with mascarpone, mixed roasted nuts, blueberry compôte, raspberries and maple syrup.  As you can see it’s pretty as a picture and I’m told it was as delicious as it looks. For its £12 price tag it didn’t seem the greatest value, but being great tasting and promptly served helped make up for that.

chilli butter beans, oak ca pheI opted for the Chilli Beans Spinach Bowl.  This was aromatic and flavoursome without too much heat.  Described as slow-cooked butter beans, wilted spinach, feta, pickled peppadew, toasted sourdough and chilli oil, this was velvety-textured, unctuous mix. The toasted sourdough provided the perfect foil the butter beans mixture. It was enough food, but not the most filling portion.

Would I eat there again?  Yes I’d like to, but in all honesty I’d probably go for somewhere with larger portions or more reasonable prices. It’s worth going to try out Vietnamese food that done well and the service was prompt and attentive.

Disclosure: I paid for my own food at Oak Ca Phe.

A First Look at Metro Spa’s New Skin Transformations #Ad

September 26, 2025 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

I’ve been popping into Metro Spa and its sister salon Dermoperfection for years, so when an invite to their latest in-clinic event landed in my inbox, I knew I couldn’t resist. After all, who doesn’t love a mix of beauty, bubbles, and a few surprises?

Guests gathered to discover the launch of two new treatments – Exilis and Exilite – both designed to bring cutting-edge technology into everyday skincare.

The evening kicked off with live demonstrations, which gave everyone the chance to see exactly how the treatments work. Exilis combines radiofrequency with ultrasound to target skin tightening and body contouring, offering a non-invasive option for those wanting noticeable results without downtime. It was fascinating to watch how precise the treatment is, and to hear first-hand how it can help areas that often prove tricky to firm up.

I was keen to try this and had a demo on my jawline.  It was a fairly relaxing treatment with no downtime afterwards.  You could certainly feel the heat as the treatment progressed, but it stayed the right side of being comfortable.  The results were great.  My jawline is noticeably more defined and the benefit has lasted the few weeks since I had the treatment.  I’d certainly consider having a full course of this and I can see how useful it would be to those wanting to deal with loose skin after weightloss.

Exilite

Exilite treatment

On the other side of the room, Exilite took the spotlight. This light-based therapy is all about rejuvenation: improving skin tone, reducing redness, and addressing concerns like pigmentation and acne. Seeing the technology in action made it clear why it’s creating a stir in the world of aesthetic treatments – it’s gentle but impressively effective.

Exilite

Exilite

I watched a demo for this one and it was a really quick and easy treatment session.  It’s certainly something I’d consider if I had pigmentation issues.

Throughout the evening, the Metro Spa team shared expert advice tailored to each guest, explaining which treatments might best suit different skin concerns. Their approachable, knowledgeable style made even the most technical details easy to understand, which was refreshing in an industry that can sometimes feel intimidating.

The event struck the right balance of science and accessibility, showing how these new treatments can fit seamlessly into real skincare routines. As always, the salon team created an environment where learning about advanced treatments felt relaxed and enjoyable.

Disclosure: I’ve been a client of the salon for several years. I was invited to attend this event and received a complimentary demonstration treatment, but I was not paid to write about it. All opinions are entirely my own.

Colour Me Beautiful Express Colour Service Review #Ad

July 9, 2025 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

colour me beautiful

Let’s be honest, most of us could use a little nudge (or a full-on makeover) when it comes to figuring out what really suits us. Whether it’s clothes, accessories or make-up, having a second opinion, especially one that’s expert and totally unbiased, can make all the difference.

This is where Colour Me Beautiful steps in. Their colour consultations are designed to help you figure out exactly how to show off your best self. I actually had one of their full consultations gifted to me years ago, and yes, we’re talking about 15 years ago now. It was such an eye-opener. I walked away with a much clearer idea of what worked for me and how to wear it with confidence.

So when Colour Me Beautiful got in touch recently to see if I’d like to try their Express Colour Service, I didn’t think twice. Who wouldn’t want a quick colour refresh with expert advice, all without spending hours in front of the mirror wondering if that shade of green is your green?

colour me beautiful consultation with colour cape

As I arrived at the house of my Colour Me Beautiful consultant, Ann Skidmore, she greeted me with a big smile and instantly made me feel completely at ease. Ann brought out a selection of colourful capes—just like the one you can see in the photo—and started holding them up to me one by one. Honestly, I was amazed at how quickly it became obvious which colours worked for me. The right shades made my skin glow, while the wrong ones left me looking a bit washed out.

Once Ann figured out my colour type, she took me through exactly which hues were my best friends and even gave me a handy little card with all my perfect shades on it. It’s the ideal size to pop into your handbag, making it super easy to keep with you whenever you’re out shopping.

colour me beautiful card

My colours came out as Warm and Golden, and I was given a handy little card with ten shades that suit me perfectly. Not only did it list the colours, but it also included suggestions for how to combine them in a way that works beautifully for me. I really loved that extra detail because it sparked a few outfit ideas straight away. I can already see it being super helpful next time I go shopping and want to pick up a few bits to fill the gaps in my wardrobe. There were tips for accessories too, plus make-up suggestions to complete the whole look.

colour me beautiful

One of the things I enjoyed most about the consultation was that it felt like proper, uninterrupted me-time. You get around 40 minutes with an expert colour consultant who’s completely focused on you and what works best for your colouring, style and confidence. It’s all about helping you discover how to make the most of yourself through colour, and it feels like such a treat.

After the colour chat, we moved on to make-up and tried out a few products together. It turns out I’m much better off using browns around my eyes instead of black. I’ve always used brown eyeshadow, but now I’m officially a brown mascara convert. We picked out a few lovely bits for me to take home, including the brown mascara, a mossy green eyeliner, a lip liner and a lipstick. We also chose a lightweight Olivia scarf in a beautiful rust shade, which I’ve already worn a few times to add a pop of colour or the perfect finishing touch to an outfit.

colour me beautiful makeup and scarf goodies

I went into the consultation feeling fairly confident about which colours suited me, but the Express Colour session really reinforced that. It also helped me appreciate just how much of a difference the right colour combinations can make, and I came away with some brilliant make-up tips too. I’m definitely feeling more confident now, both in how I dress and how I do my make-up. It’s amazing what a little colour know-how can do.

Disclosure: I was gifted the Express Colour consultation by Colour Me Beautiful. As always, all opinions are my own.

Dermoperfection Host Event With DermaFocus and Plinest #Ad

April 23, 2025 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

Dermoperfection event

Recently I attended a stunning event hosted by Dermoperfection showcasing polynucleotides set against a glorious view and a gorgeous sunset. It was a really informative event and I learnt a lot about polynucleotides and the benefits they can have for your skin.  I particularly liked the fact that they are a great treatment for tackling areas that other treatments often leave untouched, like the eye area.  They are particularly good for tackling dark circles.

But before I get too carried away, do you know what polynucleotides are and how they work?

The Beauty Buzz: Polynucleotides – The Injectable Everyone’s Talking About

Hailed as “the hottest aesthetic treatment of 2024,” polynucleotides are the latest natural injectable turning heads—and complexions—across the UK beauty scene and beyond.  These clever little molecules are being celebrated for their skin-rejuvenating powers, and Dermoperfection proudly offers the crème de la crème of polynucleotide treatments: Plinest by Mastelli.

Polynucleotides are derived from the DNA of salmon and trout because their DNA happens to closely mirror that of humans. The result? A remarkable ability to stimulate our skin at a cellular level. Think of them as bio-stimulators that help the skin repair itself, boost collagen and elastin production, and essentially bring dull, tired skin back to life.

These injectables aren’t just surface-level fixes. They work deep down to repair tissue, calm inflammation, and improve overall skin quality. Whether you’re in your twenties and hoping to prevent early signs of ageing, or further along and looking to refresh and hydrate your skin, polynucleotides have something for everyone.

plinest polynucleotidesWhy everyone is so interested:

  • They’re a brilliant preventative treatment for younger skin.

  • They tackle fine lines and age-related changes head-on.

  • They hydrate and boost elasticity for that plump, dewy glow.

  • They soothe inflammation—great news for sensitive skin types.

  • They’re especially kind to the delicate under-eye and lip areas.

  • Downtime? Minimal. Results? Practically instant.

  • They’re versatile too—ideal for face, neck, décolletage and even other body zones.

What can they actually treat?

From pigmentation issues and pesky fine lines to more stubborn concerns like rosacea and dark circles, polynucleotides are proving their multitasking credentials. They even lend a helping hand with stretch marks and thinning hair—yes, really!

Dermoperfection are now offering polynucleotide treatments, you can find out more about Dermoperfection’s treatments here.

A Chemical Peel With PCA SKIN and Dermoperfection #Ad

October 21, 2024 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

PCA SKIN mailbox birminghamLast week I attended an event at the Mailbox in Birmingham with Dermoperfection and PCA  SKIN.  Obviously, Dermoperfection are an established part of the Mailbox and they offer a great range of treatments.  Many of these skincare therapies use PCA SKIN products, which have an enviable reputation.

For three decades, PCA SKIN has led the way in advancing and refining the science of skin health. Built on the belief that transformative, science-based solutions can enhance not only skin but also overall well-being, PCA SKIN continues to be a trusted innovator in creating powerful professional treatments and daily skincare products. With a focus on providing personalized solutions that deliver noticeable, dramatic results, PCA SKIN is the top skincare brand recommended by aestheticians.  They are renowned for their expertly formulated skin peels, with over a million treatments performed annually. At Dermoperfection’s clinic in The Mailbox, they offer three PCA Skin peels: the NoPeel Peel, the Perfecting Peel, and the PCA Skin Pigment Correct Peel.

PCA skin in the mailbox with DermoperfectionThe benefits of PCA SKIN’s skin peels include boosting the skin’s cell turnover, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles, addressing dark spots and pigmentation, and clearing acne.  I tried one out in the pop up clinic in the Mailbox.

It was a relaxing treatment.  I just lay back and closed my eyes.  First my skin was thoroughly cleansed and then two separate layers of peel were applied to my skin.  After each layer was applied, a fan cooled my skin.  There was a little tingling of the skin, but only on a scale of 2 or 3 out of 10.  The second layer of peel tingled slightly more than the first one.  I also had a retinol treatment applied.  My skin looked radiant immediately after the treatment.  Here’s a picture of me just after.

after my chemical peel

Photcredit: PCA SKIN/Dermoperfection

I am very impressed with how good my skin looked (I’m 55 years old).  My skin felt really alive all day and even beyond.  Over the next few days I’ve noticed a little dryness and I’ve been careful to use the followup products I was given to help with this.  I have been using the collagen hydrator and an SPF as well as PCA SKIN’s luxurious feeling Creamy Cleanser. My skin is still looking great: really alive and healthy.  I’m really pleased with the results for such a short treatment with virtually no downtime.

Disclosure: I had a free chemical peel treatment for the purposes of writing this post. My opinions, as ever, are my own.

A Pampering Hydrafacial with Dermoperfection #Ad

October 7, 2024 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

HydrafacialI’m always on the lookout for new ways to keep my skin looking good.  Fads aren’t good though, so the search is on for ways of keeping my skin looking young and healthy on a long term basis.  Part of doing that for me is finding a good facial that really cleanses my skin and delivers lasting treatment benefits.  So I was excited to be given the chance to try out HydraFacial Syndeo, an innovative and advanced hydrafacial system, which Dermoperfection have added to their already comprehensive skincare treatment range. I know from past experience that Dermoperfection, based in the Mailbox in Birmingham, seek out the best treatments to offer their clients, so I was looking forward to a real treat.

What is HydraFacial Syndeo?

HydraFacial Syndeo is an award-winning system that takes the HydraFacial experience to the next level. The Syndeo, a name derived from the Greek word for ‘connected,’ is a clever machine connects with your skin’s unique needs and story, storing everything via cloud-based technology. This means every treatment can be perfectly tailored just for you!

First, it gently exfoliates with a soft peel, then uses a painless suction to extract impurities, and finally hydrates with deep moisturising action. To top it all off, it infuses serums designed to target your specific skin concerns. And, in true HydraFacial fashion, you can even see the results up close in your very own light-up Gunkie jar!

But that’s not all – there’s also the addition of the incredible wet diamond tip. This gives the facial an extra boost in exfoliation, offering results similar to microdermabrasion for an even smoother, more refined complexion.

How does it feel?

Well it’s a calm, relaxing experience: very restful.  The suction applied is a very slight pressure, but nothing more.  There’s no pain or discomfort.  The Hydrafacial experience left me feeling relaxed and calm.

It’s always good to be able to see visible results of the gunk removed from your face afterwards in a jar.  I thought my skin was clean, but it’s amazing how many bits of grime persist. My skin felt deeply clean and very alive afterwards. That feeling of my skin being truly alive was difficult to beat. I did have a slightly reddened face afterwards for about 10 minutes (I think because of increased blood flow), but there is virtually no downtime.  It was soon reverted to a healthy glow. I feel my skin does look good at the moment and I’ve had a few compliments in recent weeks about it.

What does HydraFacial Syndeo treat?

The HydraFacial Syndeo goes beyond just pampering – it uses red and blue light technology to target a whole host of skin concerns, including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sagging skin
  • Acne and oily skin
  • Hyperpigmentation and sun damage
  • Dull, dehydrated skin

After your HydraFacial, you can enjoy that refreshed, rejuvenated glow for up to 6 weeks. For the best results and to truly tackle those skin concerns, a course of 3-6 sessions is recommended. This way, you’ll see lasting improvements and make real progress towards healthier, more radiant skin.

Disclosure: I was given a complimentary facial for the purposes of this review.

Revive Collagen – Menopause Max Collagen Drink #Ad

July 11, 2024 by Erica Hughes Leave a Comment

I’ve worked with Revive Collagen in the past and I’ve been impressed by the quality of their products, plus they are really easy, convenient and pleasant to use.  So I was keen to try out their Revive Collagen Menopause range when I heard about it.

Revive CollagenDid you know that the collagen in our bodies naturally decreases as we age? It’s true sadly! But here’s some good news: you can give your collagen levels a much-needed boost by taking a collagen supplement. This can help slow down the structural decline of your skin and other body parts.

Starting in our early twenties, our collagen levels begin to drop at a rate of about 1.5% per year. For women, the first five years of menopause can lead to a whopping 30% loss of collagen. By the time most women reach 60, they’ve lost around 80% of their collagen. Yikes!

That’s where the Revive Collagen Menopause range comes in. It’s specially designed to tackle the symptoms at each stage of menopause, helping you maintain your collagen levels and keep your skin and body looking and feeling great.

Revive Collagen MenopauseSo what is included in each day’s convenient little sachet?

10,000 MG OF COLLAGEN

Collagen is the main component of hair. As your natural collagen levels start to deplete, hair loss and thinning become more noticeable. Menopause Max is packed with 10,000mg of type 1 hydrolysed marine collagen, which helps strengthen hair.

VITAMIN K

Our bones are made up of 90% collagen. During menopause, our natural collagen levels deplete, resulting in a more fragile bone matrix. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

LUTEIN

Known as “the eye vitamin,” lutein helps prevent eye diseases such as cataracts and conditions that lead to vision loss later in life. It has also been shown to provide moisture for those suffering from severe dry skin or vaginal dryness, which can be side effects of menopause and can also lead to a lack of libido.

REISHI

Reishi increases the production of oestrogen and progesterone.

PINE BARK EXTRACT

Pine bark extract has been found to improve the hydration and elasticity of the skin by up to 25%.

RICE CERAMIDES

Rice ceramides replenish the skin’s ceramide levels. This means our skin will have more lipids to bind our cells and create a firm barrier against sunlight and pollution.

SELENIUM

Selenium preserves tissue elasticity and the youthful appearance of skin. It is also known to be effective in alleviating hot flushes.

FOLIC ACID

Folic acid may have a beneficial effect on reducing hot flushes.

Revive Collagen - Menopause Max Collagen DrinkAs with all of Revive Collagen’s products, these Revive Collagen – Menopause Max sachets are super easy to use.  They are easy to pack if you are away on holiday too.  It really couldn’t be simpler.  They taste pleasant too: it’s never a chore.  I’ve noticed in the past when trying Revive Collagen’s products that they have a beneficial effect on my skin and hair.  I need all the help I can get with maturing skin to cope with and hair that takes a bit of a battering because I swim 5 days a week.

I’ve been very happy taking Revive Collagen – Menopause Max and intend to take them in the future.

Disclosure: I was sent some Revive Collagen – Menopause Max for the purposes of this review.
