A Little Luxury For Me

Radical Skincare Review and Giveaway

January 10, 2014 by Erica Hughes 332 Comments

Radical Skincare Age-Defyin Exfoliating PadsOver the last few weeks I’ve been trying out Radical Skincare’s Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads. Radical Skincare was set up by two sisters and they set out to create strong skincare products that are very potent.  The packaging is kept simple and stylish to allow the money to be spent in the bottle (or in this case the jar).

Radical Skincare using Trylacel Technology which combines multiple antioxidants, anti-aging ingredients and soothing ingredients for sensitive skins.  To use the exfoliating pads, you need to cleanse your face first.  Then you use a single pad over your face, neck and décolleté.  My skin has been very happy to get this treatment.  It’s become clear to me that I’m not cleansing quite as effectively as I thought as some dirt is coming off on the pad.  My skin feels soft and smooth after use and I hope it’s making me look a little younger. One thing to be sure of though is that you must close the jar properly after use.

For readers of A Little Luxury For Me, we have a jar of Radical Skincare’s Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads to give away.  Entry is via rafflecopter.

At the moment I only really have a regime when I’m wearing make-up. I use micellar water and then a toner from Botanics that also exfoliates your skin. I’ll apply moisturiser if my skin seems dry. Thanks for the comp!

My skincare regime is usually cleanse, tone, moisturise, with fairly basic Vitamin E products. Having been ill for a large portion of last year, my skincare regime has fell by the wayside and I now mainly using wipes to cleanse and nothing else *blush*. I’d like to try this to hopefully get my skin looking it’s best again x

I try to keep it simple and drink lots of water. I use cocoa butter to moisturizer with and a dab of tea tree if a spot appears. If my skin is really dried out in the bad weather I use sudocrem to rehydrate.

I wear make up 5 days a week for work, and although I cleanse and moisturise every night before bed, I am finding it difficult to remove all traces of make up, which is starting to cause spots and blackheads. I would love to try this, when you have started getting wrinkles you should not have to worry about spots as well. LOL

I use Oil Cleansing Method, a rosewater toner, hydrating serum, and moisturiser – anything other than OCM and I break-out terribly, that includes trying to use any sort of exfoliating washes, I really need to find a way to exfoliate without causing these problems with my skin…thus why I’d love to win this product (the anti-ageing, firming, and reducing pore size are all big pluses to this product too) 🙂
