I pop into my local debenhams and ask nicely if they have any samples i can take away with me.the little perfume samples are ideal for a weekend away, and i have come away with a small 1/4 size of mascara. even had a foundation sample once.
I always take an extension lead if going abroad so I can plug all my essentials in without the need for lots of adapters! Along with all the other essentials, toothbrush and paste, make up, extra pillow, my bag is huge!

I always pack my Kindle, can’t fall asleep without reading a little.
Clean underwear, toothbrush and toothpaste, plus a basic make up kit of mascara, kajal and Max Factor All Day Flawless foundation and lip gloss. I can fit all this in a medium size handbag in seconds and be ready to go.
