For me this month’s selection in the Degustabox was strongest on the drinks front. This month we have enjoyed some very refreshing cider from The Good Cider of San Sebastian. This brand was new to us, but we’d happily pick it out again when we are buying cider. Sweet Sally Spiced Tea was the one that had my name on it as I am a big tea drinker. I liked the mix of refreshing tea and autumnal/wintry spices, plus a hint of citrus.
I really like the idea of breakfast in a drink, especially for days when I have to catch an early train to a blogging event or similar. These ones from Up&Go are less sweet than some, because I have found other brands to be a bit too sugary for my taste first thing in the morning.
The extra virgin oil from The Olive Shop is just the thing for late summer/early autumn salads with its strong, almost fruity taste. Perfect for a quick weekday lunch the Kent’s Kitchen Spicy Szechuan Posh Noodles have filled the middle of the day hole for me in a very tasty fashion. Friends and family have enjoyed helping us sample some sweet treats including Bassetts Jelly Babies ‘Berry Mix’ and Maynards Reds and Blacks Wine Gums (there’s a reason why these two flavours are everyone’s favourite). Mallow and Marsh provided an indulgent treat for those with a sweet tooth and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups have been a popular choice.
COMPETE® Energy Bites are low-calorie chocolates infused with caffeine (1 bite = 1 large premium coffee) and have gone into work with my husband to help him through late nights in the office.
Reese buttercups are my favourite. I have never heard of Degustabox I am going to have a look into it and what it is. Looks fab though.
energy bites (chocolate!!) that are low calories?! YES PLEASE! Degustabox sounds and looks like a great idea! I keep meaning to try peanut butter cups. They sound amazing. Also, I love that there’s a good selection of yummies in the box 🙂
Looks like a really good box of goodies. Cider is one of my favourite things and we use a lot of love oil, mainly to dip crusty bread in. Not heard of chocolate with caffeine before but I am sure there are lots of people I know that would love them :). Like all the sweeties too x
I use to review these and I loved them, I always loved the suprise element to them and enjoyed discovering new products xx
I think I’m gonna have to look into Degustabox! I NEED those breakfast on the go drinks – always oversleeping and late for my train, so that would be perfect to drink on the way! Sabrina xx
I have never tried a Degustabox but everything here looks like I would love it. I do like the idea of a breakfast drink, it’s so easy to skip breakfast when you are in a rush!
The ciders look very good quality! I must look into the box some more – I’m obsessed with beauty subscription boxes, but have yet to try a food one 🙂 x
Sweet Sally Spicy Tea sounds heavenly I have yet to try Degusta but I have heard some great things about them. That tea would give me the kick I need in the morning to get my day started.
Oh this looks nice, I love those black and red sweets!!! I keep thinking about signing up for a Degustabox but I have allergies so I think it may not be suitable xx
Oh yum I’m so jealous, on the first pic I was like want then as I moved on and read each thing I just wanted them all. Reese cups probably my fav.
Oh gosh … mow I have to go and make some reese’s pieces happen fairly pronto!
I love that Olive oil too, I am a bit addicted to drizzling it on pretty much everything.
Lovely post
I’m very hungry now!

Mmmm very intrigued by Mallow and Marsh. Big marshmallow fan here! And anything that involves Reese’s Peanut Butter cups is a winner in my book. These boxes look great 🙂
