A Little Luxury For Me

Vitamin C Serum

March 5, 2015 by Erica Hughes 6 Comments

Instanatural Advanced Formular Vitamin C SerumOver the last couple of weeks I’ve been trying out this Vitamin C Serum from Instanatural.  It comes in a neat blue bottle with a stopper.  The consistency of the serum is such that using the dropper is easy, it’s neither too liquidy or too gluppy.  It has a bright orange colour and I detected a fruity scent.  When you put it on, you feel that your face should feel sticky because you are putting something that looks like thick orange juice on your skin.  It doesn’t though, it’s very pleasant to use and apply.

The formula includes organic and natural ingredients such as vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E. It also includes ingredients such as organic rosehip oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Plant Stem Cells, Carrot Seed Oil, Pomegranate which have a reputation for fighting off the signs of ageing.

It’s easy to apply and provides instant hydration to your skin and goes on smoothly to provide soothing relief and moisture. I liked the effect on my skin, but, maybe because it was absorbed so quickly, it didn’t feel as hydrated after a few hours.  That said, my skin didn’t feel tight or dry at all during the day, so it may just be a more subtle action that thicker creams.

I received this product in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve never used a Vit C serum before. I have just started using a scrub though. This serum sounds great. Especially as there’s no tackiness. I hate that!

Beauty stuff and the beauty industry can be a nightmare to keep up to date on and it’s great to read an honest review of new products, haven’t heard much about Vitamin C serums but am intrigued to find out more – off to investigate.

    Thanks for the review

Have never used as was always worried that it would be sticky, I thought it smelt very fruity so didn’t get passed that.
I might try it now though.
